It was that joyful time of year again and Tig was just staring out the window, watching the frigid rain trickle down the glass. It was 5:00 in the morning and he had gotten up an hour ago. This wasn't because he was excited but because he just couldn't sleep with so much on his mind. His best friend, Liam, had left last month to live in Peru. The place so far away from home. At least Christmas meant no school, no struggling through incomprehensible classes for a while.
